CIPS Net Zero Programme

Climate action is vital to limit the average global temperature rise to below 2⁰C and prevent the most dangerous impacts of climate change. All businesses, regardless of size, need a Carbon Reduction Plan as part of demonstrating their commitment to responding to this challenge.

In response to this the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply along with a range of strategic partners are committed to providing a programme that provides suppliers with the tools and guidance they need to calculate their carbon footprints (or import existing calculations), develop actionable Carbon Reduction Plans, and provide robust data to their clients.

The Carbon Reduction programme is free for suppliers. It can be used by all suppliers regardless of where you are on your carbon reduction journey. The programme has free training for registered suppliers and wrap around support to help you take actions to achieve net zero. By participating, you can not only reduce your own carbon footprint but also help your clients to report more accurate and meaningful supply chain emissions data, tracking progress to Net Zero.
